I decided to give everyone the choice whether they wanna make a bloody, gory entry or not, as long as it follows the DA rules!

Survivors
The Walking Dead
Basically it's about the world, completely lost by the zombie virus. People are bitten and they will die and wake up as zombies or Walkers, as we like to call them. To participate in this event, you don't have to watch the series. It's just based on the series. 
The event
Okay, imagine, the harpg world is infected with the zombie virus. And your human and horse character has to survive. Nothing works like cellphones. Stores are robbed and medicines are rare. Many buildings are either burned down or floaded with walkers.
Goal is that you have to last till the end, as human and horse, or as walker and walkerhorse! And be carefull! Walkers are extremly attracked to horsemeat, so don't leave your horse unwatched! It can be turned into a walker horse or completely being eaten!
You can interact with other stables! You can even draw your charachter as a walker itself! It's just a fantasy world, so everything will become normal after.
You can draw the characters from the tv series as well if you like! I will get back to that later!
Weapons
There are weapons everywhere! Best thing is to find a gun. However, a shot will attrack walkers! An axe or something is better, however, it is much more gross to use it because you will have to destroy the walkers head.
The walkers (zombies)
Basically the walkers are random, but you can also decide to draw your characters, horse and human as walkers and attacking others. You can also draw other stables people and horses, attacking you! Make sure you get permission though! To kill a walker, you have to destroy the brain.. don't make your drawing too gory or bloody!
Turning into a walker
Either a bite, or a scratch! If body fluids, like saliva or blood from a walker access your characters body via a wound, it will probably turn into a walker. In the actual series there is a further story about the causes of turning into a walker, but I don't wanna give any spoilers for people who wanna start watching the series. So, scratch or bite it is in this event.
Some things you should know:
Hard and loud sounds and noises will attrackt them! That means a gun isn't always a good weapon!
If you are hurt, they will smell blood fast and from a large distance.
They don't run very fast, more like a slow jog.
You can shoot them in their stomach, chop arms off, but that doesn't kill them. Only the brain needs to be detroyed, by a bullet, an axe, or crushed by horse hooves maybe?
They don't see that well in daylight. Their eyes are extremely light colored, wich makes them slow in bright sunlight. In the dark however they are faster!
The weather
You can choose whether you draw your entry in daylight or in night.
The weather will be dry, sunny and very hot. If you see bodies, probably rot fast, because of the heat. At night it's much cooler, and a little thunder will be visable in distance. No rain though.
The horses
Yes, even the horses can turn into walkers! Be carefull if your horse is bitten by a walker and turned into one itself, they are not vegetarians anymore once they are a walker!
The characters from the series
The characters from the serie, are located near the farm, and have their own camp on his property. (see map)
Rick - He is the leader of the group, and also a policemen. Honest and kind.
Glenn - He is not a hero, but helps were he can.
Lori - Rick's wife.
Daryl - He is a bit of the anti-hero, he is mean and rude, but in the end he will probably safe you from an unexpected walker attack.
Dale - He is just the nice grandpa. He watches the group.
Carl - He is Rick's and Lori's son, he is brave for his age.
Hershel Greene - He is an older man, owner of the farm (see map). He is honest but not easy attached to strangers.
There are more characters of course, feel free to interect with any of them.
The map
1) The farm from Hershel Greene. It's a safe place, but not easy to get access since Hershel likes to keep outsiders away. He is a vet, and he can probably help you with wounds.
2) DANGER! This barn is filled with walkers, they used to be family and friends of Hershel.
3) Here is Rick's camp and the others stay here too. You can try to join....
4) Hershel's stables, you can secretly get in and feed your horse.
5) DANGER! Small town, here is a supermarket, a pharmacy and a bar and some other shops. Most things are robbed, but you will find some left overs and some walkers!!!
6) DANGER! Forest.... filled with walkers but also with animals, if you want to hunt.
7) DANGER! Big city... filled with walkers but also things you might need.

Each stable can enter 2 different horses and 2 different riders. You can decide whether to draw 2 different entries, or combine them in 1. It will count as 1 entry then.
Horse above the age 3.
Your stable does not need to be registred with the official HARPG-Group. You just need an active RPG stable.
Rider/handler need to be at least 15 years old.
Collabs are allowed!
Interaction with other stables is encouraged!
You must put the link to this journal in the info.

A story is not needed, but a little description of what is happening is required!
I decided to give everyone the freedom how gory and bloody you wanna make it, as long follow the rules of DA regarding marking your creation as mature content etc.
FAQ #220: What is Mature Content?
So what do I need to draw for my entry?
Anything you want what can or will happen! You can even draw your horse and rider in the supermarket in the town, searching for food! Be creative! You can also choose to draw your characters as walkers, but don't make it too scary! You can draw other people's charachters, but ask permission first! Not everyone wants their character drawn as zombies!
Keep in mind, you don't have to draw a zombie up close you can also be creative and make the atmosphere, scary or whatever. As long as we can see there is something not right there. 
How scary/gore/bloody can it be?
DA has mature content rules and I decided to change this show with more freedom for you guys. If you wish to draw something bloody, gory, it's up to you. As long as you keep following Deviantart rules and don't forget to mark it. For people under 18, you are not able to view images wich are marked as strick mature content. This will not effect your chance of winning, it's all about the effort, creativity and so on. FAQ #220: What is Mature Content?

Extra images will not give you extra chance to win!
